The IT guys called in a company called TeleSign and they devised a security scheme which was hack proof. TeleSign incorporated two factor authentication into the log on process for our external users. Turns out they have been successfully doing this for years all across the medical and insurance industry. It’s really an ingenious system. People need a special code, called a PIN, before they can log on to the public site to add or modify their personal medical information.
