Let me share with you my experience with TeleSign and their two factor authentication solution in keeping my business head and shoulders above my competitors. When I started my online electronics business, I knew I was going to have to compete with big box stores and other established retailers. I had years of experience in marketing and what started out as a hobby to enhance my own personal collection of high-end audio gear has now blossomed into a thriving business. TeleSign sends them a unique PIN or personal identification number, usually directly to their cell phone. After they enter this number on the order page of the site I’m able to verify all their payment and billing information. I knew that many of my competitors had suffered problems with fraudsters including misdirected shipments resulting in huge charge backs. I couldn’t afford to have that happen on my site and I was pleasantly surprised the bottom line impact of TeleSign’s cost model which only requires me to pay for the actual number of verifications they process. Now with TeleSign guarding my site from fraudsters I can be certain that all of my orders are accurate and will be delivered on time! |
