I did some research of companies that provided web site security and kept finding references to a company called TeleSign. When I contacted TeleSign, their representative told me the perfect solution for my security breach was two factor authentication. It works like this. Customers register on my site for any of my offerings. Before they can access the site to place an order for any of my offerings they have to provide a phone number which TeleSign verifies. TeleSign then sends then an authorization code, known as a PIN which is required for them to proceed further. Once they enter the PIN, I have an accurate record of their information and a legitimate verification as a registered user on my site. TeleSign’s two factor authentication came at a surprisingly low cost and they were able to integrate the system into my existing site the very same day that I called. With TeleSign protecting my website, my demanding clientele is assured that their valuable furs are stored in safety! |
