I immediately called our IT staff and they saw the the same issue from their end. We got right to work that very afternoon and promptly called TeleSign, a company whose reputation at website protection was being hailed all over the internet. TeleSign provided a unique layer of protection through their web authentication service. Now in order for the alarm to be remotely disabled the customer needs a second piece of data in addition to their user id and password. This second step is generated by TeleSign and sent directly to the user on their mobile phone. Our company does not even see it so the level of security it impenetrable. There is no setup cost and we are only charged for the verification if and when our customer needs it. Our IT folks were really impressed with their SOAP-API based integration model and the deployment of their two step solution was totally seamless so we didn’t have to bring in a consultant to get up and running. Thanks to TeleSign and web authentication we are able to give our customers the finest home security on the market! |
