After a mishap in web security within my website and outgoing orders, a two factor authentication program by TeleSign was put on the website to prevent it from happening again. My prosthetics company, which had mostly focused on providing these mobility devices for the domestic medical industry, was now being bombarded with orders from overseas. When a week passed and we had not confirmed delivery I called the warehouse were the shipping instructions had indicated the devices were to be sent only to discover it was it was an export company that was primarily transacting business with other Middle Eastern countries and they had no record whatsoever of the shipment. We were on the hook for the production expense and eventually suffered a series of costly charge backs. |
