TeleSign’s approach was amazingly straightforward. When my clients wanted to send over financial data for preparation of their corporate tax returns, they would log into my website and TeleSign would send them a secure PIN number to verify their identity. It was convenient for my clients since the PIN was sent to something they had with them at all times, their mobile phone. Without this code anyone wanting access to the site would not be able to view or transfer any data. This way I could be certain that a cyber thief could not intercept or compromise the information. The greatest part about the Internet Authentication solution was the quick implementation to my site which required no additional purchase of hardware or intricate software configurations on my end. TeleSign used their SOAP based API integration model to make the whole process seamless and non intrusive to my website. The cost of deploying Internet Authentication was extremely affordable and as a result I didn’t have to increase my fees to cover the cost of this added security.
