After the wedding was over I called TeleSign and asked whether the two-factor authentication was right for my business. Turns out it was a perfect solution to keep my website secure from potential fraudsters who prey on small business owners who’s websites lack adequate security. I now use the same process to verify all of my orders. My customers really don’t mind the extra step as all of them have a cell phone and it assures me that all of my orders are legit. The whole process was so simple and I didn’t have to do any configuring to my website at all! TeleSign used a SOAP API based integration model so the result was transparent to my customers. The cost was incredibly affordable for the level of protection they offered. Taking a risk on a new supplier was well worth it. Not only did I save my daughter’s wedding but I saved myself from future risk on my website thanks to two-factor authentication! |
