Being somewhat new to our IT department and to the whole process I set about conducting some research into web site security providers that could deliver a factor authentication solution meeting compliance requirements yet staying within a pretty narrow budget. A company called TeleSign kept coming to the forefront of my research efforts. Their advancements in the field of web security featured the latest technology being offered to deter theft and data compromise stemming from attacks on financial institutions. As I researched further I discovered that TeleSign had been providing high levels of security for Fortune 500 companies all over the globe.

After several days of exhaustive research the data was on the table and TeleSign was head and shoulders above all others who were part of the study. Their user authentication solution was easy to implement as they used a SOAP API based integration platform allowing our bank to seamlessly incorporate their factor authentication into our existing web architecture. The part of their proposal that delighted our board of directors and sealed TeleSign’s partnership in securing our site was the low total cost of ownership. The cost per individual authentication was a fraction of other vendors and amounted to a few cents per verification when bench-marked against the average customers on line activity. A significant portion of our business plan hinged on better web site security and TeleSign was the pivotal factor in a successful execution of the standard of factor authentication security we now proudly possess!
