TeleSign’s fit my needs in a way no other multi factor authentication system could. Their approach was simple, non intrusive and extremely easy to integrate into my website using a method called SOAP API which didn’t require any special hardware or intricate programming on my end. Now when a prospective student signs up to take the course they are verified through multi factor authentication, an independent process where TeleSign sends them a unique, secure, one use PIN number to any phone line they provide upon registration on the site. With this additional means of authentication, hence the term multi factor authentication, I get an electronic verification of their identity to ensure compliance with the state requirements. This is especially important when they are taking their tests on line. At that point there is another round of authentication which I use to uniquely match up the test results with each student record. Because I only pay for each successful verification TeleSign’s authentication solution turned out to be one of the most affordable solutions on the market. My school has achieved one of the highest pass rates among online real estate programs all over the state and with TeleSign protecting the site I have the best security rating as well! |
