TeleSign through their phone authentication to validate your users online makes sure fraudulent orders and charge backs are no longer a problem for your website after all users go through a two factor authentication verification process.

TeleSign uses two factor authentication to establish a independent means of identifying someone accessing any web site. For us it involved having a one time PIN number sent out by TeleSign to each customer placing a request for shipment of their goods. Once they entered the PIN number on our site we could be sure they were legit and match up their delivery address with what was stored in our database. If there were any inconsistencies at the time the order was requested they were caught on the spot before the truck was loaded and sent out.

There was minimal impact to our customer service levels because most of our customers had mobile phones so the phone authentication process could take place no matter if they were in the office or not. Our controller was naturally concerned with cost and a part of the reason we went with TeleSign was their affordable pricing model and ease of implementation. We only get charged per verification which amounts to a few pennies for each order placed. Integration of their system was completely seamless resulting from their cross platform SOAP API based model which works on any web platform. After adding their two factor authentication solution we eliminated all charge backs and our turn around time for orders decreased by several days. We recommended them to anyone who has a need for high quality security combined with a low total cost of ownership.
