TeleSign knocked out spammers on my website and kept them out of our ring. Running a gym dedicated to the sport of boxing takes dedication and perseverance, the same kind of attributes that TeleSign incorporates into their strong user authentication systems. Since my existing recruitment methods to get young talent interested in joining my establishment were not working I decided to create a website to get more traffic through the door and into the ring.. Shortly after the website went live, I got hit with a spam attack that nearly knocked out the server. I knew how to train boxers to protect themselves from their opponents but it turns out that I knew very little about website security.

Tired of having to weed through and delete all of the junk only to find that hours later it was back again, I got online and found out about the two factor authentication solutions being offered by a company called TeleSign.  Reading further, I learned that their approach used a second means of verification to make sure only registered users were able to access my site. Their advanced system was designed to send a secure PIN number to a website users phone. In order to register on the site they they needed to enter the PIN so they could be verified. Spammers didn’t want to be bothered with this extra layer of security so they left my site alone. The whole process was easy to implement because TeleSign did all of the work using their cross platform SOAP API which works with most any website. I thought it was going to cost me a lot of money to get a strong user authentication system in place but I was wrong. TeleSign doesn’t charge any upfront or ongoing maintenance fees and I only pay for the number of verifications that are actually processed.
